Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert has cancelled his loan with Greek outfit Volos – and joined Championship side Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of the season.
The French wide men became the Terriers’ third January signing and was former Fulham midfielder Mark Fotheringham’s top target after Chelsea loanee Tino Anjorin underwent ankle surgery. The 31 year-old has endured a disappointing Craven Cottage career since his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion – initially in 2019 on loan – and made just nine appearances in Greece after being loaned out by Marco Silva.
The veteran winger has made 55 appearances and scored four goals for Fulham, but struggled to recapture the form that saw him win promotion to the top flight with Leicester City and the Seagulls. His current Craven Cottage contract expires in the summer.
best wishes to you Anthony, here’s hoping you fit in really well at Huddersfield. Bon Chance!
