Veteran winger William enjoyed a sensational start to his Fulham career since moving to Craven Cottage on a free transfer following the cancellation of his Corinthians contract this summer. The Brazilian international has injected invention and plenty of trickery, providing another option out wide for Marco Silva, and scored his first Fulham goal – the crucial third – in a fine away win at Leeds in October 2022. He followed that up with the opening goal in Fulham’s first win over his former employers in seventeen years before opening the scoring against Nottingham Forest with a stunning strike in February 2023. He decided to leave Craven Cottage in the summer of 2024 but returned within six months after ending his spell at Olympiakos via mutual consent. Willian was released in June 2025 having made 79 appearances for the Whites.
