In our latest interview for the Green Pole, Alan Drewett talks to Kit Symons about his extensive Fulham career. From leaving Manchester City to join Kevin Keegan at Craven Cottage, to winning two promotions and establishing the Whites as a Premier League force, Kit went on to start his coaching career at Motspur Park, taking charge of first Fulham’s under 18s and then the under 23s before being handed the poisoned chalice of succeeding Felix Magath.
The Welsh legend was such an engaging interviewee that we had to split this discussion into two parts of ease of recording and uploading. You can listen to part one below:
And part two follows here:
We’d like to thank Kit for giving up his time to give the Fulham fanbase an insight into his extraordinary career at Craven Cottage.
Kit, a lovely man. Met him with his sons at the Cottage. So polite as were his sons.
Bless you Kit.
