Fulham are one of three sides interested in signing the Sporting Lisbon left back Ruben Vinagre, according to reports from Portugal this morning.
The 23 year-old wing back is not in Sporting head coach Ruben Almorin’s plans for the forthcoming campaign – despite the fact that the Lions signed him permanently from Wolves on Friday after his loan at Estádio José Alvalade last season. Vinagre, who made 69 appearances across three seasons at Wolves, only featured eighteen times for Sporting last term and they are willing to listen to offers for him this season.
Fulham, who are poised to announce the signing of Joao Palhinha from Sporting imminently, face competition from Nottingham Forest and Turkish side Trabzonspor for Vinagre’s signature, according to the Portuguese newspaper Record. The Whites are reportedly in pole position because of the Portuguese link provided by Silva and the player is intrigued by the possibility of a Premier League return, whilst Trabzonspor are only able to offer a loan.
Fulham need to buy a quality centre back urgently and a right wing back. If money is tight then go for Fenebache’s Kim Jae something, he is a quality centre back at a value for money price £15mil. He is quick, big strong, and excellent in the air. Wing back should buy Neco Williams for Liverpool, he is worth the price and has many years left at the top level. If not then look at Aaron Hickey from Bologna.
We are looking to waste money on Periera from Man Utd, been trying to make the grade for years and he is not up to it.
We keep hearing about the winger Solomon but yet still not signed, what’ holding it up. One problem has always been Tony Khan, he knows nothing about football and yet is involved in the transfers. Stick with selling football programmes on a Saturday and leave transfers to people with football knowledge.
When are we going to look at a Centre Back it’s mostly Fullbacks and Miidfield Players it’s worrying that we have only signed one player and deadwood we have not yet got rid of, Marco has to name 25 players for his Squad and we do every season how many of those will be new players I read Fulham News and Marcos not happy about the Transfer Policy this is also worrying I understand that this time round we have to get it right because the PL is hard TheManager needs to gell these new players so come TK earn your money
