Reports coming from journalist Alfredo Pedulla tonight say that Fulham have offered the Italian center back Alessio Romagnoli high wages to try and bring him to Craven Cottage. The defenders preference has always been to join Lazio however he is now growing impatient with the lack of movement from the Italian side. The contract offer is on the table from Fulham and is a very lucrative one for Romagnoli who has said he wants his future sorted before his contract with AC Milan runs out next week.
An everpresent in the Milan side making over 200 apps for the side as well as captaining the side it’s in no doubt he could be exactly the type of defender Marco Silva needs to sure up his Fulham back line. Romagnoli would be regarded as something of a coup for the west London side should they manage get the deal over the line.
Last time around Fulham complained lack of time because of playoffs. This time lots of talk but nothing while others have made several moves.
Not a lot of movement anywhere let’s get it right this time round
Ian we’re looking at high grade of player than the likes of Bournemouth , even Man Utd can’t get things over line. It gets harder every year for smaller clubs to improve , Not helped by greedy agents were all frustrated , but stop having a go of your great club ,just had a great season.
Your right Daniel, it’s a frustrating time for all, I hope agents become a thing of the past, I wish players could see that sometimes they can become a hindrance and a very expensive one too.
But I would like to get a little more info. From the club regarding progress, have we even got Neco for instance ?
COYW !!!
Agents have neen bad for football since when the big money has been involved. Greed and corruption are rife, as we know. But to be fair this is not only in football where it is tame compared to what actually goes on. In a simple old fashioned world, no agents, no transfer windows and a more transparent system.
I bet it doesn’t take this long to get new signings in AEW.
If we don’t get neco williams we want shooting
We’ve offered for Neco, but I’m pretty sure we’ve offered lower than Liverpool want, and other teams (Southampton) are interested.
No Roy, of course it doesn’t, because those guys have about 6 destinations to choose from, not potentially hundreds.
Whilst sharing the general frustration at the lack of incoming quality players I am equally concerned about the limited time new players will have to gel. We do not have the luxury of easy games in this league so august counts as much as any other month so we need our best line up in place with a strong understanding of each other from the off.
Unlikely…
I agree that it is taking far too long to sign Neco we know how good he is and he will only get better so what is the hold up, I am starting to feel TK really does want us to be a yo yo club with his total lack of ambition, we all know if we are to survive in the premiership we need at least 6 new players and yet we haven’t got a single one signed yet, so I don’t understand why people are making excuses for TK it’s his job and if he can’t do it we need someone who can.
I don’t believe all this rubbish I keep on hearing. I’ve lost count on how many players we’ve been in for.
The one thing I haven’t heard about is a keeper.
He is an experienced young player who has champions League, Premier League etc level proven experience, they would be foolish not to sign the lad
Sign players soon or it is back to the championship again. Goalkeeper, full back, ie Neco, Centre half, defensive midfielder
Hurry up PLEASE
We need to sign quality players, definitely central defence, even last season teams that noticed our weakness just pressed on our back line and got results. We need to pay up to stay up.
We need a playmaker someone who could passes the ball well to this team mate
Fulham is giving a way to munch of they young players to the big clubs
In the caribbean we call it’s stopper that what fulham need in they defensive
Did anyone see the article about yo-yo club and parachute payments? Fulham and
Norwich City were mentioned frequently. Seemingly, a club can make more money
by yo-yoing between the two top leagues than if they make the commitment to stay
in the Premier League. No doubt the Khans are aware of this!
