A report this afternoon from the sun claims that Fulham have made a move for Coventry City midfielder Gustavo Hamer. Jack Rosser reports that Marco Silva would look to sign the Dutchman as well as the addition of João Palhinha which is very close to completion.
Hamer who has 8 goals and 13 assists in 85 apps for the Sky Blues has earned rave reviews in the championship.
He was part of the side that beat Fulham twice last season in which he looked very assured against one of the best midfields in the league.
Rosser doesn’t say how much the Cottagers would need to shell out to coax the Dutchman to the Premier League but if they wanted to do a deal then Fulham certainly have the funds.
West London rivals Brentford have been credited with an interest as well.
Another Mid field player How many more. A central defender or two in my opinion should be the club’s priority
Why would Hamer sign for a team that will be relegated next year?
There not able to sign there own name let alone a football player not a drop of ink on a contract.
So hear we go again season long loan to the premier league
With the new season fast approaching the team to play Liverpool will be the same as last season, another negative transfer window. We were rumoured to have gonefor Ryan Frederick’s,that just about sums it up,why not sign Charlie Austin as well!!!
Get your hands off!
Paper talk don’t think we where ever in for Fredericks or we would of got him, Silva looking at others
Ffs hurry up and sign someone even if it’s only the tea boy
Fulham need to spread their net in the important search for an experienced goalkeeper, a mobile centre half and an overlapping full back. The best full back around at the moment is Neco Williams, let’s try harder to get this deal over the line before he is taken like so many other players that Fulham have been reported to be interested in. Both Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have bagged a few players for their squads already. The fans don’t want to go into difficult premier matches with the same squad, a positive start to the season would develop further positivity in our usual fight to avoid the bottom three.
The algorithms must be pounding away in TK’s bedroom somewhere in the USA! What an embarrassment he is-Shad for god sake employ a proper director of football operations before another relegation is confirmed-I have a feeling that Marco might walk away.
I think history is repeating itself with Neco Williams, if my memory serves me correctly we lost Matt Targett because we were a few million quid lite in our valuation. Sometimes you have to pay over the odds to get what you want
Gus Hamer the best midfielder in the championship by far.
Does anybody think the they don’t trust Marco signing or is it that our owner don’t care if we go down again because if we come back up Fulham earn a fortune.
Completely agree We must be a laughing stock among other clubs our fantastic championship Win now seems ages ago I feel for Marco Silva as Mike said might walk away why? is a centre Back not priority we have been linked with everybody and we are looking forward for additions to the squad but nothing also agree about target we let him go same now with Neco what’s happening about players Like Knockaert Onomah Cavaleiro Kongolo etcdo Fulham have to sell these guys before we can buy anybody we have to name a squad of 25 so who will be in that
Such negative comments. Let’s wait and see – the next two weeks will bring at least three signings. What’s happened to the good vibes of last season?
Recent history !!!!
Let me remind you Dipper pre season starts in 3 weeks, don’t you expect us to have the new signing in by then.
I don’t think it’s negative comments.
Dipper the good vibes from last season are now the past and we need to get a move on with our signing process if we are to survive in the Premiership, we need to get these signings done a lot faster we have no excuses so why are we taking so long?
