According to Scottish newspaper the daily record Fulham are among a host of Premier League teams taking a look at Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo.
The Nigerian international has enjoyed his time in Scotland winning the League and culminating in him scoring in the Europa League final where he was deployed in a false 9 role which he took to very well.
Predominantly he plays as an attacking midfielder and with a gaping hole in the no10 role left behind by Carvalho’s departure Aribo could be a shrewd bit of business for Fulham this summer.
Coming through the Charlton youth system and shooting to prominence in league 1 he has experience of the English game and he may fancy a return to London with the opportunity to test himself in the biggest league in the world.
Other clubs credited with an interest include Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Nottingham forest
Please, please sign somebody soon, there must be about 30 players we have been told that are of interest. I would have thought that we could have signed Neco by now???
We’re gonna be last out of the blocks again. Id have thought neco was a certain to be signed straight away with Liverpool already owing us a few quid for carvello. All talk and no action mr khan
Alan you said it perfectly! Every Fulham fan is thinking it.
It really is time to some autographs on a few contracts. and let us know who we’re after !
COYW.
We are on a roundabout again. Trying to sign a OAP ( West Ham ) reject.
We don’t even know who going to be between the sticks.
With less than 6 weeks to go before we start preseason we haven’t got a team.
how much?
hes scoref in uefa cup final.
bear from the lough.
This is typical Tony Khan dealings all promise and no quality. Why are we risking loosing Neco Williams, just pay the money and get a quality player. When are we going to actual buy a quality centre back. We here that we are looking this back and tat forward, but no offers are made. I see another lot of journeymen foreign players that lack the technique, quality, heart for playing in the Premiership.
The last time Khan dabbled in the transfer market we were relegated and had poor imported players that we can’t sell on.
A cheap Centre back who has all the qualities and speed for the premiership is Kim Jae who plays for the Turkish club. He would be a brilliant purchase without spending big money.
With Neco Williams and Robinson we will have two back to upset many clubs but we do need a quality centre back. Apart from Tosin all our others are not premiership standard and we will ship goals again without a strong athletic defence.
I would not put it past Tony Khan to accept West Ham’s Offer for Tosin that’s how Stupid it seems then buy Harvard Norvelt with the money it’s now almost turning into a Whitehall Farce Labelled “who are we not interested in “How is this Man still operating at this great Club simply because his Dad gave him the job so he’s to blame as well what Input has Marco Silva in these transfers you nearly hear from Tony Khan when we were in the Championship but what a Surprise he’s involved now,we are in the Premiership it’s about consolidation targeting those bottom Seven teams which we no we can beat
Moan moan moan moan moan moan moan ?
Signing players for the Premiership requires someone with experience and knowledge of
football at the highest level. Aston Villa showed that it is possible to sign players early.
Fulham gone about the exercise as if we were trying to sign players for two two teams
Fulham’s recruitment looks as if we are a bunch of .amateurs. Terry supporter for 65 years.
I too have been a supporter for 65years and if Chris think’s all we do is moan it’s with good reason,we all want our club to stay in the premiership this time around and we expect the same from TK but as yet he hasn’t delivered this and I am not convinced he ever will.
If we don’t want to go down for a third time, we surely have to sign some decent players.
We need 2 centre backs, N.Williams, another striker and would say 2 midfield players.
Leaving it to Tony Khan and is stats, will just be of a disaster.
I would love Romagnoli from AC Milan but Neco Williams is a must.
I agree with Brian, why are we doing.
Just get him and spend the money
Not as easy as all that as their agents like an auction. More dosh for them
Neco Williams worth the dough but a couple of others interested. The agent will see how the auction goes.
In case people hadn’t noticed Nico Williams has been involved in World Cup and Nations Cup games for Wales and the lads now probably enjoying a holiday. Just because unscrupulous journalists put out stories of other clubs interest it doesn’t mean we have to panic. He wants to play because it’s world Cup year I’m confident he’ll sign soon enough
