Winger Martial Godo has enjoyed a meteoric rise since joining Fulham from non-league Margate following a successful trial in March 2022. He quickly impressed in the under-21 side and was one of the few bright spots in a League Cup defeat to League Two Crawley Town in August 2022, coming off the bench to make his debut. Godo shone on loan at Wigan Athletic in 2023/24, scoring four goals in 37 games, and making his England under-19 debut. He returned to Fulham, richly deserving a new four-year contract, and made another senior appearance in the League Cup loss on penalties at Preston North End. Godo made his Premier League debut against Southampton in December 2024 and made six first-team appearances in total before moving to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg in a £6m deal on transfer deadline day.
