Rodrigo Muniz is available for Fulham’s trip to Cardiff City this weekend having shaken off a calf problem.
The Brazilian striker picked up the injury in the closing stages of the Whites’ win at Hull a fortnight ago and missed the home games against Huddersfield and Peterborough. The 20 year-old, who has scored five goals in 384 minutes of Championship action since joining from Flamengo in August, is likely to be on the bench in south Wales.
Fulham head coach Marco Silva told his pre-match press conference earlier this afternoon:
“With Rodrigo it was just precautionary but we didn’t want him involved last night as we didn’t want to take a risk with him. He has been training since Monday with his teammates and now is ready if I decide I want him to be involved in the match.”
Captain Tom Cairney is likely to miss Saturday’s fixture having stayed away from Motspur Park today after still feeling under the weather. Silva said:
“There are no big problems but it is the same situation with TC. He was unwell last night and is still the same this morning, but all of the others have recovered well and are all OK.”
