Kenny Tete will definitely miss tomorrow’s meeting with Blackpool as a result of the groin injury he sustained at Stoke City last week.
The Dutch full back was forced off in the second half of a see-saw encounter at the Bet 365 Stadium after a collision with Stoke goalkeeper Jack Bonham. Tete, who has endured an injury-plagued spell at Craven Cottage since signing for Fulham from Lyon last summer, could also miss the FA Cup trip to Premier League leaders Manchester City next week as well.
Silva told his pre-match press conference this afternoon:
“It doesn’t look too long. But he will be out tomorrow, definitely. Let’s see next week whether he can start or not. At this moment it’s difficult to say if he can be available for the FA Cup or Championship games the week after. Let’s see how he’ll react from the therapy in the next few days.”
