Various reports this afternoon suggest that Barcelona have been watching the progress of Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho this season.
The Spanish giants join a clutch of clubs who have been impressed with Carvalho’s emergence into the Fulham starting eleven, first after the Whites were relegated from the Premier League under Scott Parker and then this term when the nineteen year-old has scored three times in his first five league outings in the Championship.
Barcelona, Leeds, Norwich City and Porto have all been credited with an interest in Carvalho, who has a year to run on his current contract at Craven Cottage. Fulham remain confident that the teenager will soon commit his future to the club, following in the footsteps of Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic – who signed a new five-year deal last week.
And there he goes…. 🙁
Come on Fab, sign the deal!
Why go where you will never play?
The transfer window is closed and the kid’s stayed put, YIPPEE. Now all the mischief making journalists kindly go away and let him enjoy his football at Fulham
Don’t join Roberts and two or three others warming the bench, loaned out and flogged later on. Waste of time.
Should sign a contract because he’s sorted either way.
Guaranteed money for x years, he gets experience this season and if he’s good enough he’ll go regardless…win win for all!
