Harrison Reed took part in Fulham’s training session at Motspur Park this morning – boosting hopes that he could be available for the trip to Huddersfield this weekend.
The ball-winning midfielder missed Marco Silva’s first competitive game in charge at Craven Cottage as the Whites drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough in their Championship opener on Sunday. The 26 year-old, who has made 51 appearances for the Whites, has had to manage a troublesome ankle problem throughout pre-season but could return to the Fulham midfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.
Great to see. Let’s not rush him back though, if he’s still a little short of fitness by Saturday leave him out. There’s another 45 league games to go. The boys that played against Middlesboro did ok, sure it was a little disappointing in the end but not a disaster from a performance point of view
Thank goodness. Mind you, he & the club must be sure that his ankle is well and will not let him down again too. But it’ll be great to see him back again helping to shore up the defence and midfield. Go Harrison !
