Life was certainly never dull with Aboubakar Kamara around. An unconventional forward, with a powerful physique and plenty of pace, the French-born Mauritian international was an irritant to opposition defenders but often infuriating in front of goal. He was eccentric both on and off the field: fighting with team-mates and club officials as well as disobeying orders and missing vital penalties. Amidst all of that, AK47 as he was known was a vital part of two promotion-winning sides before leaving the club for Aris in August 2021 having scored seventeen goals in 94 action-packed appearances.
