Scott Parker is poised ‘to leave Fulham this week,’ according to a Telegraph report from this morning.
The Fulham manager, who has been repeatedly linked with the job at Bournemouth this summer, was unable to keep the Whites in the Premier League last season and the Telegraph report cites ongoing ‘friction’ between Parker and the club’s hierarchy. Negotiations between Fulham officials and the 40 year-old are ongoing, but a departure is now considered likely.
Bournemouth are monitoring the situation closely with Parker rumoured to be their first choice to succeed Jonathan Woodgate at Dean Court.
Finally, his boots are too big getting praises for his performance; 5 wins, 9 goals at home and having no striker.. if its that easy than half of London could be manager of Fulham… Time to scrap head coach and bring in a 1st team manager
Parker has bored me to tears. I’m done with sideways possession boring football, false number 9s and negative tactics. Yes it is true TK is a plonker and doesn’t help but Parker isn’t anything special. I hope we have someone lined up early because the squad needs major attention and god forbid it is left to TK to sort out on his own.
Get rid of Parker he’s took us down twice.
(1) He’s upset probably our best forward we’ve had for years
(2) his signing have been way off the mark. Loftus cheek. Maja
We’re in a complete mess as a football club, aren’t we? Relegated – again – losing our manager to a possible rival for promotion (if we’re fortunate enough), nepotism infecting the hierarchy, an absentee owner, clueless director of football and no ‘director of scouting’ with pre-season training two weeks away and Parker’s backroom staff no doubt likely to depart. Things can only get better …
The problem is Tony Khan and not Scott Parker. If he does leave then Frank Lampard would be my first choice ot Chris Wilder the second. Whatever happens it needs to be sorted quickly to decide who will stay and who will go, new young blood with something to prove is what is required not seasoned professionals who will mainly be in it for the money.
This is pure and simple because of Tony Khan.
Also, Alan. Parker didn’t sign RLC or Maja… that was Tony Khan.
What about John Terry and Frank Lampard.
Parker isn’t too blame here. The owner and his son still haven’t learned from previous mistakes. Parker hasn’t taken us down twice, when he originally took the job we were effectively down anyway. He was thrown under the bus this season with no time to bring in players that he would have wanted. It’s the same old same old.
All the club will do is bring in some other poor mug and do the same thing again.
You only have to look at the players they’ve released or given new contracts to this season to see how clueless they still are.
What we need is a director of football/scouting with proper experience who can help rebuild the team.
Get rid of TK he hasn’t got a clue. If SP wants to leave then thanks and good luck.
Shame he wasn’t allowed to manage in the first place.
Hey ho keep the faith COYW ???
