Former Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has been made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

The ex-England manager, 73, has received his honour in recognition of his services to football. Hodgson, who left Crystal Palace at the end of last season, memorably led Fulham out of a relegation battle after taking over at Craven Cottage from Lawrie Sanchez to the final of the Europa League in 2010. He also achieved Fulham’s highest ever top flight finish.
