Fulham have tabled a £10.5m offer for Spezia striker M’Bala Nzola, according to reports this afternoon in Italy.
The Whites are desperate to bring in a striker to fire their survival bid after Scott Parker has been forced to field Ivan Cavaleiro as a makeshift forward following Aleksandar Mitrovic’s loss of form and fitness. The French forward has scored nine goals in 13 games for Vincenzo Italiano’s side this season after a successful loan spell in Ligura last season.
The 24 year-old scored seven times in 21 league appearances as Spezia were promoted from Serie B via the play-offs last season and made his move from Trapani, who had helped gain promotion from Serie C in 2018, permanent. Nzola has impressed during Spezia’s first season in the Italian top flight, although the club are reportedly willing to hold for an offer that matches their £13.35m valuation with other suitors apparently monitoring developments.
Nzola, who can also operate on the left wing, came through the Academia de Coimbra academy in Portugal and after a year with Virtus Francavilla, whom he helped reach the promotion play-offs, he made the move to Italy, joining Carpi. The 6ft 1in speedy forward has been previously linked with a possible move to West Ham in December after making a strong impression in Serie A.
If he good pay the price
Sign please Tony Khan whatever it’s cos thank you
Sign him. The difference of 3 million or so is irrelevant. If he scored 10 goals to keep us up that’s worth a damn sight more.
Please sign him as soon as possible and pay the asking price if thats what it takes, it could be the difference of keeping us up or being relegated.
We need a new striker if he cost that much then pay it. Scott has come out and said we dont have anyone at the moment. So if we want to keep the keeper Anderson and lookman then we need to stay in the premier league. We are getting the stand sorted to play in the premier league not the championship so please pay the money for good players

If true a relief since Scott was expressing confidence about signing(s) only a month ago.,didn’t understand what had happened behind the scenes.,Without the needed extra fire power all our excellent progress could count for nothing
Something has happened behind the scenes I can’t understand what going on but as we all know we need a Striker and this guy looks Ok let’s make it happen Tony Khan or face the wrath your fault if we go down and not the managers let’s get the final piece of the jigsaw
Scott Parker , the team behind and around him deserve the financial backing needed to get one , maybe two extra strikers.
We need to stay up and build for the future.
The defensive turnaround has been unreal, now we need a few big guns and the big Serb on Fire.
We have had a bid for Platek turned down why Mr Khan? you obviously are not interested in this Great Club or he would work 24/7 to get this done very quick to take the praise let’s see what happens if we don’t sign anybody and what excuses are told remember the long winded epilogue about getting a CB Scott has done an incredible bile job turning it around now give him a proven Striker or Two if not do the right thing and resign
Not just that simple, the player has to want to join Fulham as well. Struggling team looking like relegation Candidates, London in lockdown. Then Tony Khan has a habit of dithering until the last day of the window before signing essential players. The damage to our chances of staying up were already seriously jeopardised by the time he got the defenders we obviously needed the day after the play off final. The same scenario is happening now with a striker. We needed one signed three weeks ago.
