Fulham are poised to announce a double signing after Kenny Tete and Ola Aina passed their medicals ahead of their proposed transfers, according to Sky Sports News.
Both right backs are expected to join the newly-promoted Premier League club imminently. Aina, who came through the Chelsea youth academy, will initially arrive on a season-long loan deal, with Fulham holding an option to make the move permanent for a reported £11m. Dutch international Tete will complete a switch believed to be worth around £3m and both could go straight into the squad for Saturday’s opening game against Arsenal at Craven Cottage.
Still no CH ring Smalling back
That is the right back covered but not even any sign of a Centre back which apart from Harrison Reed was our number priority after winning the play off final. What is happening here.
Afraid only one place Smalling wants to go , back to Roma getting closer in the end feel this will happen. Big Rumour Kevin McDonald Training as CB
McDonald might not be bad call as we’re now that desperate!
Why are we being continually linked with Luis in the press! Central defenders should have been prioritised-this is the premier league-when you let non-football related people purchase players by way of a spreadsheet you are bound to have problems. I would love to talk about another narrative but our player recruitment problems are becoming systemic. It’s time for Tony Khan to relinquish his spreadsheets and put his trust in our head coach Scott Parker. Without being disrespectful the mere suggestion that Kevin McDonald could be a makeshift centre back in the toughest league around is quite frankly embarrassing!
