Fulham defender Jerome Opoku has signed for Plymouth on a short-term loan.
The 21 year-old centre back, who can also operate at left back, joins the League One side until January initially. Opoku, a popular member of Fulham’s academy since the age of nine, has previously captained the Whites at under-23 level and spent last season on loan at Accrington Stanley, where he made 23 senior appearances. The tall, speedy defender is under contract at Craven Cottage until at least next June, with Fulham retaining the option to extend that deal by a further year.
