Harrison Reed anchored Fulham’s midfield expertly after arriving on loan from Southampton in August 2019 and was one of the pivotal players in the Whites’ promotion via the play-offs at the end of the coronavirus-impacted campaign. It was no surprise when he made the move to SW6 permanently the following summer and the Worthing-born tenacious tackler excelled in the top flight, despite Fulham’s eventual relegation.
Reed revelled in more of a box-to-box role under Marco Silva as Fulham clinched the Championship title in style and he has continued his development this season, adding more of a goal threat in the top flight – scoring twice in quick succession against Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa after going more than a hundred Fulham appearances without finding the net.
