NtvSpor claim Fenerbahce have identified Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen as a target ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
Fenerbahce are in the market for a midfielder in this transfer window and the Turkish club have also been linked with a move for Leicester City’s Adrien Silva.
According to NtvSpor, Fenerbahce are now in talks with the Norwegian midfielder as they look to strengthen their squad. The Yellow Canaries currently sit 15th place in the Turkish Super Lig after 18 games and they need to change their fortunes in the second half of the season.
The 28 year old joined Fulham from Celtic back in 2015 and he’s played 12 games for the Premier League club in this campaign.
Johansen was linked with a move to Galatasaray earlier in the window, but it seems Fenerbahce are now leading the race, with Sabah claiming a deal is close for the Fulham player.
Johansen’s contract with Fulham will expire at the end of the season but the English side still have the option to extend it for another season.
