Swindon Town have taken Fulham striker Elijah Adebayo on a season-long loan, it has been confirmed this morning.
The powerful 20 year-old, who has been converted from a centre back, enjoyed an outstanding season with Peter Grant’s under-23 side last term, scoring eleven goals before Christmas. Adebayo went then on loan to Cheltenham Town in January, scoring twice in seven senior appearances.
He joins League Two Swindon Town for the duration of the forthcoming campaign and is set to join Phil Brown’s side on their pre-season tour of Spain.
