Scottish under-21 centre back Connor McAvoy has been at Fulham since the age of eight after playing his early football with Staines Town. After a string of impressive under-18 performances, the cultured centre half signed his scholarship in July 2018 and captained Fulham’s under 23s to the PL2 Division 2 title in 2022, whilst gaining valuable first-team on loan at Wealdstone. McAvoy impressed Marco Silva during the Whites’ pre-season tour of Portugal and was named on the substitutes’ bench for the League Cup tie at Crawley in August.
