Steven Sessegnon was actually considered the more talented of Fulham’s teenage twins before he suffered a serious injury just as he was making his mark in youth team football. Originally a winger converted to full back, Sessegnon was a star of England’s youth sides – winning the under-17 World Cup in 2017 – and made his debut for Fulham in a League Cup win over Wycombe at the start of that season. He made an impressive first league start at Huddersfield but was benched following a mistake in a subsequent defeat by Nottingham Forest and never recovered his starting place under Scott Parker. Sessegnon is currently enjoying a strong loan spell with Charlton Athletic.
