Fulham are ready to offer £2m for the Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen, according to a report in today’s Scottish Sun.

The newspaper believes that Johansen, who was linked with a move to Craven Cottage back in June, is one of Slavisa Jokanovic’s top targets and that the Whites are ready to spend some of their Ross McCormack windfall on tempting the Norwegian midfielder south. Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is believed to be open to offloading Johansen in order to bring in further new faces as he completes the summer overhaul of his squad.

Johansen, who was named Celtic’s player of the year after the 2014-2015 season, has seen proposed talks over a new contract placed on the back burner since Rodgers took over at Celtic Park. The 25 year-old midfielder, who won the Norwegian title with Strømsgodset in 2013, has made 113 appearances for Celtic, scoring thirteen goals.
