Ross McCormack is close to agreeing terms on a contract extension with Fulham, according to Sky Sports.
The Scottish striker has been heavily linked with a move to Middlesbrough throughout the transfer window window and missed Fulham’s last league fixture – a 1-0 home defeat to Hull. The 29 year-old, who has scored seventeen goals so far this season, handed in a transfer request earlier this week which Fulham rejected.
The club have been in negotiations since then with McCormack and his representatives and are confident that the former Leeds forward will sign an improved deal before the end of the transfer window.
