Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega joined Fulham on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic in July 2012. He scored three goals in 33 appearances in his first season at Craven Cottage, having mostly been used as a substitute after the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov on deadline day. He scored six times in seventeen games the following year, including the winner in an away win at Aston Villa that briefly gave the Whites hope of survival, and only became a regular once Kit Symons replaced Felix Magath the following year. Rodallega scored eleven times in 38 appearances in 2014/2015 before being released at the end of the season – after Fulham had avoided a second successive relegation.
