Kit Symons signed Seko Fofana on loan from his former club Manchester City in November 2014 following a surfeit of midfield injuries. The teenager made his debut in the 2-1 win at Brighton and Hove Albion a couple of days later and went on to make 25 appearances in a difficult season for the club. He scored the clinching second goal in stoppage time at Huddersfield Town with the Whites reduced to ten men – before memorably running into the away fans in what became iconic scenes.
