Fulham manager Felix Magath claims that a defeat at Cardiff will not guarantee relegation from the Premier League.

The Cottagers currently sit rock bottom in the table, but could overtake 19th-placed Bluebirds with an important three points on Saturday.

However, Magath believes that there are still matches to be played after Cardiff that could go towards determining whether they stay in England’s top flight.

When asked if the Cardiff match was a must win game, Magath said: “Not if I look at the schedule.

“We have a good schedule for the last 10 games, because most of the teams that play in the Champions League we have played, except Manchester City.

“So I think we have a good schedule for the last weeks.

“I get the feeling here that everybody knows that and everybody sleeps well with the knowledge that there are games ahead of us that we can win.”
