Promising forward Olly Sanderson joined Fulham’s academy at the age of nine and has worked his way impressively up the club’s age groups. He made his under-18 debut aged just fourteen in a 3-1 defeat at Leicester in September 2018. Highly rated by the Motspur Park coaching staff, Sanderson signed a scholarship in July 2020 and scored his first under-18 goals in a 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion that October.

He scored 24 goals in 44 games for the under-18s before signing for Oxford City on loan in September 2022, scoring on his debut in an FA Cup qualifying tie. He scored four times in six games before rejoining City in August 2023. Sanderson scored nine times in 23 games before that loan was terminated, allowing him to join League Two Sutton United in January 2024. Sanderson was a big hit at Gander Green Lane scoring four times in 20 games but couldn’t save the U’s from relegation.
