Stephen Kelly has been ruled out of Ireland’s Euro 2012 play-off second leg against Estonia on Tuesday because of a groin injury.
The Fulham defender could not take part in today’s training session and is likely to be replaced by John O’Shea, who has recovered from a hamstring problem. Kelly played the full 90 minutes as the Irish established an almost unassailable 4-0 lead in Tallinn.
His Fulham team-mate Damien Duff was able to train despite damaging a rib in a collision with Glenn Whelan during the first leg.
