South African midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi featured only fleetingly for Fulham having signed after a successful trial in the summer of 2009. He was sent off on his debut at West Ham United for throttling Scott Parker and struggled to make much of an impression on Roy Hodgson’s starting line-up. Dikgacoi did represent his country as they hosted the 2010 World Cup and moved to Crystal Palace the following summer after a successful loan spell at Selhurst Park.
