Frederik Stoor was expected to become Roy Hodgson’s first choice right back after signing for Fulham from Rosenborg for £2m in July 2008. But the Swedish right back made just ten appearances in two and a half years at Craven Cottage before departing for Valerenga on a free transfer. Stoor was kept out of the Fulham first team by the outstanding displays of John Paintsil as he struggled for form and fitness by comparison.
