Fulham defender Paul Konchesky will undergo a medical at Liverpool this weekend Sky Sports Sources understand.
Reds manager Roy Hodgson confirmed earlier this week he had spoken to his former club over a possible move for the left-back.
And 29-year-old Konchesky, a regular during Hodgson’s time at Craven Cottage, now appears likely for a reunion with his former boss on Merseyside.
The stopper, a twice-capped England international, arrived at Fulham from West Ham three years ago.
