No Bobby Zamora in the provisional 30-man England squad for the World Cup finals, but that’s no surprise. Fabio Capello never really looked like picking the Fulham striker and, with his recent injury problems, Bobby’s got enough on his plate in making sure he can line up against Hamburg tomorrow night.

Disappointed for Bobby, thought he should have at the very least been given a chance to show what he can do, but Capello has shown that it’s the club that you play for rather than how you play that will decide if you get a call up. On the up side no distractions on Wednesday for him, simple just win the Europa League for Fulham and will all be happy. COYW
He’s always got Trinidad & Tobago. Gold Cup next year!
i wonder if this has more to do with his injury. it’s obviously gonna take some time to heal, or require surgery. definitely disappointed for him.
Capello said tonight that Zamora actually turned him down. Apparently he wouldn’t have been able to train every day and would have had to get alot of injections so there was no point.
