The beautiful quote above was found on the Skysports website and isn’t it just wonderful? The fact that we have went further than any other English club in Europe is just incrediable. People often say that the Europa League is nothing to the Champions Leaague but it is to a team like Fulham! We aren’t expected to get into Europe, never mind reaching the final.
If we had of went out tonight, realistically that was our season over. But now we will be using are last couple of games as a warm up for what is to come in Hamburg. It’s simply mind blowing for every Fulham fan out there that this has happened to us. Credit must go to the whole gang- MAF included. What a decision he made by making Hodgson manager just 2 and a half years ago.
So the story continues. Lets see how it ends.
‘If we had of went out tonight’ – oh come on! You mean “If we had been knocked out tonight” or “If we had been beaten tonight” or even “If we hadn’t won tonight” but “If we had of went out tonight”…??????!!!!!!****
Spoilt a bloody good night! Scousers out and little, cuddly Fulham to the final!
I was willing Fulham to stuff the Germans tonight – and that is from a Manchester United fan. Well done and all the best for a great final. It will be a remarkable achievement if you can win that. It will certainly give Burnley a huge lift as well, after their disappointing season. I read you might let them in via the ‘fair play’ European place if you can win the bloody thing. Bloody hell, if they won it next year…
I think many Chelsea fans will be doubly delighted for you and Atleti. Well done Fulham.
Well done Fulham, I’ll be cheering for you in the final. Even if you don’t win, the players should rightly be remembered alongside the likes of Johnny Haynes, George Cohen, Jimmy Hill and other Cottager Legends. All the very best from a Chelsea fan.
What a game…what a game…what a game!!!!!!!! I woke my son up this evening with my cheers for the great Zoltan…what a team, what a Woy, what a life. God I wish I was in south london right now…can it get any better? I keep asking myself that question!
To be fair I think we’ve tortured the Germans enough in the last few weeks and we’ve already made the Italians cry, think it’s time for the Spanish to feel some pain lol.

Well done the cottagers, I’m a gooner but I had a lot of friends who played for Fulham in the 80’s so naturally went a lot to their games during that period, in fact I remember running on the pitch against Bristol City (I think) to protest against David Bulstrode around 86/87, so I have a deep affection for you, so anyway, just wanted to congratulate your team and sincereley hope you get the result in Germany!!
Well done from a Chelsea old boy!
Great to see Fulham doing us proud in Europe.
I hope you stuff Atletico!
OH! And RH must be a shoe-in for Manager of the year now, surely!
Chelsea fan here too.
I hope u win against athletico.
Wow, this is great!!!! Incredible.
From a chelsea fan in peace..
Good luck in the final. Its a long way home when you lose (Moscow!)
Not withstanding the wallies who wanted to have a go when you beat us a couple of years a ago I think a lot of blues want you to win in hamburg.
40 or 50 years ago fans would go to Fulham one week and Chelsea the next so there is an affinity between us unlike QPR. I saw ‘Mullerysgoal in the cup in 74, when you beat us 3-1 with Best 1977 and Hull promotion with Keegan to name but a few!!
To see some fans crying on Thursday they must be the ones when you were in deep deep depths of div3 – so fair play to them. Miracles do really come true.
