AJ ruled for the season by Dan | Feb 5, 2010 | Uncategorized | 3 comments Fulham have confirmed that Andy Johnson will miss the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery in America. The Club can confirm that following knee surgery in Colorado by eminent specialist Dr. Richard Steadman, Andrew Johnson will not be available for the remainder of the current 09/10 season. Following the prognosis received from the surgeon, the Club fully expects Andrew to take part in the latter part of pre-season training in readiness for the new season. Get well soon, AJ. 3 Comments timmyg on February 5, 2010 at 5:23 pm Dio can’t be recalled, correct? Jason Gatties on February 5, 2010 at 6:56 pm So, why get the surgery done in the U.S. if England has such great health care Dan? There’s a reason people opt to have surgery here and Universal Health would end that quickly. Sorry, had to get that out. As for losing AJ for the season, I feel for him but I’m also not that concerned for the team. He hasn’t been a huge factor this year. Would be nice to have him, but if others get healthy…no biggie. See ya next season AJ. Rich on February 5, 2010 at 10:13 pm Don’t think anyone’s doubting the quality of US healthcare for those with money….
