Roy Hodgson admitted that Bobby Zamora, taken to hospital for an x-ray on a suspected dislocated shoulder, might have suffered a ‘bad’ injury on a disappointing night for Fulham at Stoke.

Fulham were 3-0 down as a result of some woeful defending when Zamora landed horribly after being fouled by Abdoulaye Faye, but eventually fought back to 3-2 at the Britannia Stadium.

It is bad. It is a dislocation – I don’t know whether it is a collar bone or a shoulder but either way it is a bad injury.

It is a very expensive day for us. We were forced to replace Hangeland at half-time with a recurrence of his knee injury and we lost Zamora early in the second half and we have also lost the game.
