France Football reports today that Roma’s Stefano Okaka has agreed a six-month loan deal with Fulham, with an option for a permanent deal, which broadly tallies with what other sources have been saying. Exciting times.

The option for a permanent deal is what really excites me. If true, we have a promising young player on our hands, and aren’t just developing him for another club. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do in English football.
Oh, now it looks like the options isn’t for a permanent deal after all, but a further 12 months loan.
Conflicting reports on whether there’s a chance of a long-term deal on the table. France Football seems to say yes and others say so. I sincerely doubt Fulham would sign him if it was just a straight loan deal.
