Fulham defender Fredrik Stoor has been temporarily sent back to Craven Cottage by Derby County after sustaining an ankle injury in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Watford.
The 25-year-old, who is on-loan at Derby, will have his injury assessed ahead of the Rams’ match with Doncaster Rovers this weekend.
The Sweden international was doubtful prior to Saturday’s match with Watford but he played the full 90 minutes to help secure Nigel Clough’s side their first away victory of the season.
Stoor’s loan at Derby comes to an end after Boxing Day and Clough could look to extend the defender’s spell at Pride Park.
He has only ever played two league games for Fulham, both after coming off the bench, and earlier on this season he expressed his desire to leave Craven Cottage.
