Reports this morning suggest that West Brom will try and tempt Diomansy Kamara back to West Brom on a short-term basis.
Kamara left the Baggies to join Fulham for a fee believed to rise to £6m with add-ons and bonuses in the summer of 2007 and was linked heavily with a move away from Craven Cottage during the close season. Moves to Bordeaux and a loan deal at Bolton failed to materialise and the Senegalese striker has said that he wants to stay at Fulham.
West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo is apparently keen on trying to entice Kamara back to the Hawthorns on loan.
Can’t see the issue – Kamara says he wants to stay; Hodgson wants to keep him. In additon, Roy has already said that the squad is small as it is, and I cannot see him offloading someone who will certainly play his fair share of games, and when we get no fee for him. Just doesn’t make any sense.
If he does go to WBA, we should do what they do to us. Say he’s worth £12m and stick to it.
Think it’s just lazy journalism myself. Reckon Joe will play a healthy number of games this term.
