Spurs and Villa want Schwarzer

I would be very surprised if Mark Schwarzer left Fulham after only a season to join Tottenham or Aston Villa. And for £500,000? Are you kidding me?

    Why Villa? They are already very deep between the posts. Guzan will be a top keeper in the league someday. He’s young & I wish Bob Bradley would allow him to actually compete with Tim Howard for the #1 spot with the National Team.

    Guzan does look good, doesn’t he? Spurs aren’t exactly short of talent between the sticks either. Gomes is actually a very good goalkeeper and they have a capable deputy in Cudicini, who would probably be a first-choice keeper at other Premier League clubs.
