Bristol Rovers’ FA Cup third round replay against Premier League Fulham will go ahead tonight after the Memorial Ground pitch passed a morning pitch inspection.
There were fears that the match could suffer a second postponement after last week’s disappointment following more heavy rain in Bristol. But the League One side have invested in state-of-the-art covers to protect the playing surface and that appears to have done the job.
