Fulham have signed former Charlton Athletic full back Nathan Ashton on a free transfer.
The defender, who can also operate on the wing, moves to Craven Cottage following the expiry of his contract at The Valley and is initially expected to link up with the Whites’ youth-team squad. Ashton, who has been capped at every age group level for England and has recently been called up to the England under-20 squad, is understood to have signed an initial one-year deal.
