Rangers are set for a shock move for freed Fulham striker Tomasz Radzinski.

Polish-born striker Radzinski, 33, is a Canadian internationalist and was signed by Walter Smith once previously.

Smith paid Anderlecht £4million to take him to Everton when he was Goodison manager, and Radzinski later moved on to Fulham for a further £1.75m.

Since starting his career at the top level at Germinal Ekeren in Belgium the hitman has a good goals record.

He scored 40 in just over 100 appearances for the Belgians, 57 in 90 games for Anderlecht – including five Champions League strikes – and then managed 25 in 91 Premiership matches for Everton.

At Craven Cottage the goals dried up a bit – just 10 from 100 games – though he was seldom the first choice striker for manager Chris Coleman.
