Jan Lašt?vka signed for Fulham on loan from Shakhtar Donestsk in August 2006. He made his league debut in a 2-0 defeat at Blackburn in December 2006 and came off the bench to replace number one Antti Niemi after the Finnish international suffered a horrific neck injury against Watford on New Year’s Day in 2007. He kept a clean sheet and went on to make twelve first-team appearances before returning to Shakhtar at the conclusion of his loan in 2007.
