Jan Lastuvka insists he has not been told whether Fulham intend to let him go at the end of the season.

The Czech goalkeeper is on loan at Craven Cottage from Shakhtar Dopnetsk and has made 12 appearances for the club due to Antti Niemi’s injury problems.

However, Chris Coleman has suggested he will return to Shakhtar as Fulham cannot agree a price for his signature.

Lastuvka maintains he is still in the dark, explaining: “No one has told me anything officially so far.

“If it is true, I will anyway appreciate the chance of playing in the Premiership and experiencing the atmosphere of English football.

“But if I had known I would be here alone all season long, I would have rather stayed in Donetsk.”

Lastuvka has had to stay in London alone as he has not been successful in gaining an entry visa for his adopted daughter.

He has no plans for the long-term future, but would have two years remaining on his Shakhtar contract if he decides to return to Ukraine.

He remarked: “I don’t know for the present. I am now at Fulham and I will do my best for them. We will see in the summer.”
