Niclas Jensen arrived at Craven Cottage in the summer of 2005 heralded as the solution to Fulham’s left back problem. He was a regular in Chris Coleman’s side until the arrival of Wayne Bridge on loan in January 2006. The Danish international then played only once in twelve months – when he was hauled off after an unimpressive display against Wycombe Wanderers in the League Cup – and, after going public with his wishes to leave Fulham, returned to his old club FC Copenhagen on a free transfer in January 2007. Jensen is now a successful football agent in Scandinavia.
