Adam Green burst in the Fulham side following the unfortunate injury to Jerome Bonnissel and certainly did not look out of place in the Premier League. He made his senior debut against Wigan Athletic in the League Cup in September 2003 and made an impressive home debut against Cheltenham in a tense FA Cup tie the following January. He followed four Premier League appearances that season and winning the club’s young player of the year award with another four games in the top flight in 2004-05, but struggled to break through after the signing of Niclas Jensen and was released at the end of his contract in the summer of 2006.
