Fulham are considering a shock move to bring Louis Saha back home from Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Cottagers are looking at replacements for Andy Cole, who is expected to join Manchester City this week. Top of their list is Saha, who scored 63 goals in 142 matches at Craven Cottage before moving to Manchester United and has struggled to settle at Old Trafford. Manager Chris Coleman, who has made up with the striker after his acrimonious departure, says it will be dependent on Saha’s wage demands.

Coleman said: “It comes down to money. He is on big wages at United.”

The move would only be a loan as United still believe Saha will come good at Old Trafford.
