Danish striker Peter Møller arrived at Craven Cottage on loan in January 2001 from Spanish side Real Oviedo after Jean Tigana had scoured Europe for a target man. The 6ft 2in centre forward only made five appearances for the Whites as he was largely confined to the substitutes’ bench but Møller did memorably break the deadlock in the derby victory at Queens Park Rangers.
